Lahui Beach is a location featured in the 2002 animated film Lilo & Stitch and throughout its franchise. Named in Lilo & Stitch: The Series, it has appeared several times in the franchise. In the original film, it is where Nani tried to get a job as a lifeguard while Lilo got Stitch to dress up as Elvis Presley and perform his songs. After Stitch scared the tourists when he was bothered by their camera flashes, ruining Nani's chances at getting a job and Lilo's attempts to tame Stitch, their friend David came by and suggested that they go out surfing to cheer up, leading to the film's famous "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" sequence. In Lilo & Stitch: The Series, Lilo and Stitch find several experiments at the beach, and some of them were given "one true places" there.
The attraction features a simplified version of the beach, with a large fake ocean wave with a surfboard in the center. The bald, overweight man sitting in the chair with a cooler and ice cream is the unnamed "Ice Cream Man" who, in a running gag seen throughout the franchise, constantly drops his ice cream (usually flavored mint chocolate chip) from its cone (in fact, the attraction shows a dropped scoop of ice cream on the ground).
