Steamboat Willie is an attraction released with Mickey's 90th Anniversary Update on 13th November 2018.
About
The Steamboat Willie Riverboat is the riverboat from Mickey Mouse's debut cartoon captained by Pete, who had Mickey working as his cabin boy.
In the original short, the boat is first seen being steered by Mickey (nicknamed Steamboat Willie in this short), playing about in Pete's cabin as if he were the captain. Pete catches him in the act and orders him to get back down to the deck. The boat is brought to Podunk Landing where Mickey has to load a cow onto the deck. When Mickey then sees Minnie wanting to hitch a ride onto the boat, he uses the ship's crane to bring her on deck, but the goat on deck eats Minnie's fiddle and sheet music. Mickey and Minnie then spend the afternoon playing "Turkey in the Straw" with all the animals on the boat, but Pete eventually puts an end to this and makes Mickey go peel potatoes as punishment.
Trivia
Steamboat Willie was added to the Building Shop for 30,000 with Bambi Part 2 Update on 11th April 2023. Prior to this date, players couldn't see this attraction in the Shop.- Steamboat Willie generated Gold Trophies from the 109th to the 112nd Striking Gold Mini Event.
- As a special gift to celebrate the new Welcome Rewards Calendar, players who does not already own it were awarded with a free Steamboat Willie between the 12th and 22nd October 2021.
- Steamboat Willie generated Gold Trophies during the 105th Striking Gold Mini Event.
- Despite being in-game since Mickey's 90th Anniversary Update on 13th November 2018, players couldn't enchant this attraction until DuckTales, Enchantments Update on 2nd July 2019.
- The Experience () reward changed from 18 to 8, the Magic () reward changed from 105 to 83 and the collect time changed from 6h to 4h with DuckTales, Enchantments Update on 2nd July 2019.
- Players could win Steamboat Willie during the 3.4.2 Mickey's 90th Anniversary Livestream Sweepstakes 2018 on 9th November 2018.
