Nightmare Before Christmas Event 2016 is the second major event of Disney Magic Kingdoms. It started on 13th October 2016 and ended on 3rd November 2016.

“'Something creepy is crawling through the Kingdom thanks to Oogie Boogie! Welcome Jack Skellington and his friends before the event ends to stop Oogie Boogie and his spiders!'”

The event starts with the short quest Happy Halloween!. Complete quests to progress in the event. Purchasing Zero unlocks his questline, A Dog's (Un)-Life.

This event is similar to The Incredibles Event 2016 , where NPCs have to be tapped, in this case Template:Oogie Bug, in order to complete quests and earn event currency.

Currency

This event introduced a new limited time currency, Wooden Pumpkins (Wooden Pumpkins).

Any Wooden Pumpkins a player had remaining was converted to Gems (40 max.) at the end of the event.

Players can earn more than Template:Gems400 Gems by Completing Quests, Leveling Up Nightmare Before Christmas Characters and playing the Dark Magic Mini Events and Striking Gold Mini Events during the event.
